From the A1(M) - Leave the motorway at Junction 63 (A167 and A693). Follow the A167 towards Durham, at the second roundabout after the motorway interchange, turn left. You will see Lumley Castle ahead and the County Cricket Ground to the right. Right at the next roundabout, left at the next, left bend towards the car parks and the Donald Owen Clarke Centre is on your right. The rowing club is part of the Centre nearest the road bridge over the river.
All other main roads, with the exception of the A167 from the south, meet at the motorway interchange. From the south on the A167, after you pass under the railway bridge on the outskirts of Chester-le-Street, follow the A167 and at the second roundabout, turn right towards the County Cricket Ground and follow the instructions above.
